This sculpture is created by rearranging and layering three basic units to form a three-dimensional ‘Fulu’ (talisman), transforming traditional magical symbols, once inscribed on paper in East Asian culture, into a protective array within space. It features the Vermilion Bird, a mythical creature in Chinese mythology symbolizing rebirth, which reassembles fragmented souls within this cave, transforming them into seeds of new life.
